Raghu Engineering College, established in the Academic year 2001, is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.The college offers B.Tech at the undergraduate level and M.Tech at postgraduate level. Admission in B.Tech is done through EAMCET.

At undergraduate level, Raghu engineering college (REC) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) to the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses are offered for four years. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.
Students interested in admission at REC should keep in mind following facts about eligibility:
At first, students needs to pass their 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects with minimum required marks set by the college. The eligible candidates are then required to appear in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Telangana State or JEE Main.
EAMCET Registrations starts from February. The application mode is online with an application fee of Rs. 450/-
Admission Process for B.Tech and M.Tech
Admission is completely based on merit computed on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination and rank/merit in JEE-Main/EAMCET/GATE/PGECET.
A merit list will be announced for eligible candidates at the end of each round. The shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for Counselling and the candidate, subject to fulfillment of requisite conditions and verification of documents, will be issued provisional admission offer and asked to deposit fee by the stipulated date.
If candidates fail to pay the fee by the stipulated date mentioned by the institution, the admission would be deemed canceled and seat would become vacant for the next round of Counselling.
If there are any unfilled seats, they will be filled on the basis of rolling Counselling(First come first serve basis).

Hi. Compulsory subjects offered are English Punjabi or History and Culture of Punjab (Only for those who did not study Punjabi in 10th) and Environmental Education. Elective Subject Combinations offered are:

3. History, Mathematics
4. Sociology
More combinations offered are:
1. Public Administration, Home Science, Philosophy
2. Political Science
3. Sanskrit, Physical Education, Psychology

Candidate can take up Honours in B.A. -II on securing 50% marks in B.A. Part-I in the subject concerned. English Hindi Political Science, Sociology, History, Economics, Psychology and Public Administration are offered in B.A. Part-II for Honours subjects. Total fees is Rs 42,190.
