Dayananda Sagar University offers more than 20 courses at UG and PG levels through seven schools. B.Tech CSE: Passing the 10+2 (English Medium) exam administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education or an exam of equal standing from a recognised board in the Science stream (with PCME as a required subject) with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% is required. The JEE Mains exam or any other eligibility test held in 2023 must be taken.

For 2023, cut off was 4649 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 7838 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Case I: Candidates graduating / graduated from IITs who have a valid GATE score (2024 and/or 2023 and/or 2022) and intend to apply for the Admission in the participating Institutes, then the candidate should  register at COAP with their qualified GATE score (s).

Case II: Candidates graduating/ graduated from IITs with B.Tech. Degree and having CGPA (cumulative grade point average) of 8.0 (on a scale of 10) and above can directly apply to the respective Institutes for MTech Admission. They may not register at COAP.
