IIIT Bangalore releases application forms online for admission. Pay an application fee of INR 1,000 to register for the preferred programme. Check below the steps to apply for IIIT Bangalore admissions:

4: Go to 'How to Apply' tab.

5: Follow the instructions, click 'Proceed to Application', and fill the application form.

Once a student is done with the first round's option entry, there is no chance for him or her to add any option for the second round unless a few seats have been added by a college after the first round of allotment. However, a student can change the order of the options that he or she has entered before the second round of allotment.

Yes, the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore offers scholarship oppurtunities. It offer scholarship on a merit-cum-means basis for the first year student of MSc course along with other schemes. A scholarship called Tridib Roy Chowdhury Scholarship is being endowed to extend a 100% tuition waiver, for a year for MSc students. Apart from this, a few scholarships offered by IIIT-B will be available after admission as per institute guidelines.   

Candidates who have passed a UG degree of a minimum of three-years in any discipline with a first division/ class from a recognised university are eligible to apply for IIIT Bangalore MSc. Aspirants must also have a valid score in CAT, CEED, CUCET or TISS NET for exemption from written test conducted by IIIT Bangalore.

No. Securing the AMUEEE cutoff does not guarantee admissions to the candidates. However, it will give them higher chances of admissions into their preferred courses. Admission to IIIT Bangalore for 2024 is now open. Well-known national entrance tests like JEE Main, CAT, GATE, and others are used to choose students for the courses that are provided. Students must meet all other selection requirements and be eligible for the applicable entrance exam to be admitted to IIIT Bangalore. The shortlisted candidates for IIIT Bangalore courses, which include MTech, MSc, and Ph.D., must also face a round of in-person interviews. The IIIT Bangalore written exam is not required of candidates who have valid scores from the CAT, CEED, CUCET, or TISS NET. 

International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore MTech fee ranges between INR 3.3 lakh and INR 26.3 lakh for the integrated MTech programmes. MTech is one of the popular courses of IIIT Bangalore. The institute has been ranked at 74 under the 'Engineering' category in 2024 NIRF rankings for its Engineering courses. Talking about placements, the institute offered a highest package of INR 65 LPA to MTech CSE and INR 39.3 LPA to MTech ECE students. The average package offered to CSE and ECE students was INR 21.8 LPA and INR 29.2 LPA, respectively.

 As per the policies of York University for Global Internships, the internships are one - unpaid and second - students who apply for these scholarships are paid CAD 3,000 which are paid out within three months, based on internship completion and performance.

IIIT Bangalore considers GATE score for admission to MTech programme. In 2023, admission were offered in MTech ECE to candidates with GATE score up to 430. Whereas the closing cutoff for CSE was 480. GATE cutoff score depends upon the applications received and is not fixed. Candidates with score equal or above the GATE cutoff are offered admission in the MTech programme.

International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore offer seats in MTech course based on the GATE score of the candidates. There is no fixed cutoff of GATE scores for MTech admission. In 2023, MTech CSE offers were made up to GATE score of 480. For ECE, the admission offered were made up to GATE score of 430. Students scoring equal or above the cutoff scores are offered admission in MTech course.
