SRM Valliammai Engineering College is an autonomous engineering institution located in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. It was established on 9 September 1999. The college functions from a ten–storey building complex of 29,000 square metres to accommodate the demands of students. The Valliammai Engineering College is a part of the SRM Group of Educational Institutions, sponsored by the Valliammai Society. The Institution is certified with ISO 9001:2015 from TUV Rheinland. SRM VEC meticulous placement cell is responsible for imparting soft skills and foreign language training to graduating students to prepare them for placements in esteemed companies. The college ensured a 90% placement record in its SRM VEC Placement 2020 session.

 The key highlights of the SRM VEC Placement 2020 are as follows:

1.A total of 449 students were placed at reputed companies around the country.

2.The Computer Science and Engineering department witnessed the highest number of placements. 

3.Candidates received successful placement across 17 national and multinational corporations. 

 The 2020 campus recruitment session witnessed drastically higher placements than the year before.

The campus infrastructure is substantial, spread across 75 acres, contributing to a conducive learning environment. GRI's accreditation with a grade A from NIC and its status as a deemed university enhance its credibility. Moreover, feedback from current students reflects satisfaction with library facilities, course curriculum, and exam scoring. If the college also offers an affordable fees structure, it can be an attractive choice for prospective students. However, it's crucial for individuals to consider their personal academic and career goals when assessing whether GRI aligns with their needs and interests.

These are the some of the popular courses offered by this college, each course has a fees of 300000 for first year which is quite high as compared to the other colleges, but this college has a great faculty which seems to be worth by seeing the college fees. As per my opinon, if you are searching a college for good BA or BSc degree, then you must go to this college.

Thapar University, commonly known as the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), is a Deemed-to-Be University in Patiala, Punjab. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted the university A+ accreditation. 

Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS), Patiala, provides three undergraduate programs: BA, BSc, and BBA. 

• TSLAS also offers one postgraduate course, the MA, with multiple specialties. 
• Admission to TSLAS is determined by a candidate's performance in an online test and a personal interview.

To join the National Institute of Design (NID) Kurukshetra, candidates must complete the admission process. This process includes:

• The NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT)

The DAT is a national-level exam that takes place annually. The application process is mostly online. 

The DAT is a two-stage exam. Candidates must first take the DAT Prelims, and if they are shortlisted, they must take the DAT Mains. The final merit list for admission is based on both the DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.
