The previous year's papers would help you get an idea of the difficulty of the questions and sometimes even the solving tactics. But they alone would not help you to get a better score.
You need to practice a lot of questions of JEE Mains level to improve your speed and accuracy.
You also need to give many mock tests which would help you analyse yourself in the performance.
Be clear in concepts and practice a lot.
All the best!
