The Candidate Should have studied Maths in all three years of graduation with any two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics. In case of an honours degree in maths, the candidates should have studied Maths in all the three years of graduation with at least 50 % marks in aggregate and any two subjects indicated in point No. 1 with at least 50% marks in each subject at graduation, level and also at least 50% marks in graduation. BA (Hons. ) in maths and B.Sc (Hons. ) in any subjects other than maths are not eligible for the post of TGT (Maths). Desirable KnowledgeKnowledge of Computer Application. Solve as many previous year IIT JAM Question Papers as possible. This is the best way to prepare for the exam as this will give you and idea about the pattern and difficulty level of the questions. Also take online mock tests to analyze your preparation. This will also increase your speed and accuracy while solving questions. Learn all the important formulas as they are the backbone of Maths. Practice as many questions as possible. Make notes of all the important stuff. This will help you in your last minute preparation. Improve your weaker areas. Focus more on the topics in which you are weak. Study at least 6-7 hours daily and give your last 30-45 minds to the revision.
