Hi Dakshata, it varies from college to college. Majority of them requires 50% on a minimum. Additionally, you must take NATA entrance exam or any other college entrance to be considered for admissions.

Both these formats will be mostly of the same difficulty. So, the choice is yours. If you are comfortable with pen and paper then you can go for offline and if you are comfortable with computers then opt for online.

Student Pilot License (SPL) & Private Pilot License (PPL) are intermediate stages of Commercial Pilot License Training. You will be issued an SPL by the flying club after some hours of ground classes and an internal exam. Thereafter you shall become eligible to start flying training. Its very simple logic SPL - PPL - CPL
For becoming a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria, which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And, even if you have not opted for the same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible.
