Dear Girijas,

It's great that you're planning to appear for the GATE exam! Since you are a 2024 pass-out student, you are eligible to apply for GATE, as there is no age limit for candidates. However, you should meet the academic requirements based on your degree, which in your case would be your engineering or relevant undergraduate qualification.

For GATE 2025, registration generally starts in September and the exam is held in February. I recommend you start preparing well in advance by reviewing the syllabus and previous years' papers, and join mock tests to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern.
