Hello, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The NEET exam is also mandatory for admission to undergraduate AYUSH courses. The admission is done through counseling based on the rank obtained (NEET-UG). NEET counseling for 15 percent of AIQ quota seats is conducted by MCC. The remaining 85 percent of seats will be filled through state counseling for the NEET-UG process in the respective state.
While you can directly register for All India NEET-AYUSH counseling. According to the rules of different states' counseling, generally, only candidates who have registered before first round counseling are eligible to participate in second round counseling. Hence, if you are not registered for round one counseling for AYUSH, you cannot directly apply for the second round if your state rules do not allow it.
