Although, work experience is not a compulsion to get admission in good Indian B-Schools, but if you have work experience it will always be add - on to your profile and will increase your chances to get admission, but if you have not started with the job I would suggest you to directly go for MBA.
I would like to add here that if you are planning for MBA go for a fulltime MBA from a good B-School.
