To be eligible for admission to an LL.B. Programme in India, the college or university offering the programme must be approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Therefore, all colleges or universities offering LL.B. Programs must have the approval of the BCI to be able to grant LL.B. Degrees to their students. It is always advisable to check the BCI approval status of the institution before applying for admission to any LL.B. Programme.

The course you wish to pursue after 12th must be relevant to future and present. It is more important to pursue from branded college. The job market is about demand and supply. There are some evergreen courses like medicine, engineering and law which would be always in demand. Thus there is rush to pursue those courses and the market full of people with these demanding skill. So it be more secure for future try to pursue B.Tech from a branded college. ROI is also a point to consider.

As an alumni of LPU, i can share the details for LPU as i don't know about other Institute. Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme.
So, as per the official website of LPU, the Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) is defined as - Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
