To gain admission into Fashion Design programs in India, you'll typically need to take the Entrance Exam

1. NIFT Entrance Exam:

Conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). 

A national-level exam for admission to various design programs at NIFT campuses across India. 

Involves both written exams (GAT and CAT) and a Situation Test (and possibly an interview for Masters programs). 

CAT assesses creative ability, while GAT tests general aptitude. 

2. NID Entrance Exam:

Conducted by the National Institute of Design (NID).

A national-level exam for admission to NID's design programs.

May include written tests, studio tests, and interviews. 

3. UCEED:

Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design, conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). 

Assesses visual perception, environmental awareness, and analytical skills. 

May be required for admission to some IITs offering fashion design programs. 

4. Other exams:

CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design): Conducted by IIT Bombay, primarily for postgraduate design programs, but may be relevant for some undergraduate programs. 

AIEED (All India Entrance Examination for Design): Conducted by the ARCH Academy of Design. 

IIAD Entrance Exam: Conducted by the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD).
