For B.Tech: Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (also known as EAPCET) is required for the convener quota. Management quota admissions are also available based on Class 12 merit.

For M.Tech: Appear for GATE or Andhra Pradesh PGECET.

For Diploma: Andhra Pradesh POLYCET or direct management admission based on Class 10 scores.

The most in-demand B.E. / B.Tech specialisation among the General HS category was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security), for which the cutoff rank in 2024 and 2023 stood at 90539 and 129564, respectively.

Candidates can join through two routes:

• Regular Entry: After 10+2, through Andhra Pradesh EAPCET and counseling.

• Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can join directly in the second year through the Andhra Pradesh ECET entrance exam and subsequent counseling.

The admission to MJR College of Engineering and Technology is generally having moderate level of the difficulty depending on the programme and the applicant category. The admission is a primarily based on merit in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam. 

Educational Qualification: You must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Marks -General category requires at least 45% aggregate in 12th grade (40% for reserved categories).

Accepted Exams -AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test), CBSE 12th, or BIEAP scores are accepted.

Age Limit Should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the admission year.

There aren't many extracurricular activities at the college. There are very few active student clubs, but the college does put on events, cultural programs, and technical fests from time to time. Students have said that the main focus is on academics and that it would be helpful to have more support for sports, arts, and clubs.
