The Karnataka Education Department releases the Karnataka 10th Syllabus on its official website. Students may get the Karnataka SSLC syllabus 2026 from the official website, kseab.karnataka.gov.in/. There is no hostel fee at OUCW. As it's a government college. Only mess bill has to be paid which will be issued for every 3 months. Roughly 1,000 bill will be there for 1 month. That's it, no other expenses has to be paid. Only mess bill that is for food we've to pay. 

The hostel facility is provided only to UG students of BCom, BA and BSc. It's provided from 2nd year onwards there is no hostel facility for the freshers they've to stay in private hostel for the first year. The mess provides 3 times meals and tea to the students. And hostel rooms are alloted to the students based on their distance from hometown to the college. The hostel facility is good at OUCW.

In order to pursue B.Sc in computer science, you must be having maths in 12th. Even if some private colleges offer you seat, I would not recommend you to take it as BSC in CS has mathematics as a compulsory subject and without having studied maths in 12th, it will be very difficult to understand the concepts in graduation.

The best course at OUCW is B.Com honours as it is not available in every college. It is the rare course and this course will be having various specialisations and helpful for the students. It consists of various subjects related to PG syllabus. The faculty in commerce department is also good.
