The GATE exam pattern consists of three types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Choice Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT). The test papers will be in English. For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering was 7509 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota.
