According to the official portal, university PhD students who have qualified both ACUET and the final selection interview are eligible for grant-in-aid (?20,000 per month + HRA or hostel facility) offered through the 'ACU Ph.D. Scholarship' Program, applicable to both Indian and Foreign Nationals. Along with this, accommodation for selected full-time research candidates is provided on a shared basis. Accommodation is subject to room availability in the hostels.

National scholarships and Post Matric scholarships might be offered to PhD students at Adichunchanagiri University. Students are advised to check with the admissions office of the university for the above two scholarships.

Interested students must first register themselves on the State Scholarship Portal for availing the scholarships. The official portal of the university has a scholarship section, clicking on which, the students can find the link for creating a new account for the same. After registration, there are separate links available for applying for post matric scholarship and pre matric scholarship respectively.

For national scholarship, students must register themselves on the NSP portal. The registration of NSP-OTR number is mandatory to apply for the schemes of backward classes welfare department, scheduled tribes welfare department and the scholarships. A separate link is available on the official portal of the university under scholarship section to register the NSP OTR number.
