Since you are a graduate, you can avail exemptions from the first stage of CA program, i.e. CPT (Common Proficiency Test).
Commerce graduates with 50% marks, non-commerce graduates with subjects other than Mathematics with an aggregate of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with Maths with an aggregate of 60% marks are exempted from the Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and are permitted to register for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC).
You can follow the procedure mentioned below-
* Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
* Complete 9 months of Study Course.
* Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT).
* Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week).
* Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE).
* Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years.
* Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed.
* Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training.
* Pass both the Groups of Final examination.
* Get Final Examination Certificate.
* Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable
* Complete Course on General Management and Communication Skill
* Enroll as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant"

Hi,
After completing diploma in Mechanical engineering you may join lateral B.Tech course in mechanical or in the related field.
To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.

Admission into a Ph.D. programme requires a good Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, or at least a Second Class Upper Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

- Doctoral students are expected to achieve a CAP of at least 3.5 in the best 6 modules (equivalent of 24 MCs), inclusive of core modules (if any).
- A doctoral candidate must complete a prescribed set of modules before proceeding to the Ph.D. Qualifying examination (QE).
The QE comprises a comprehensive written examination and an oral defence of the Ph.D. thesis proposal.
The comprehensive written examination tests the general competence of the candidate in his/her discipline(s), while the oral defence ensures that the candidate is prepared to embark on his/her thesis research.
The QE should usually be taken 12 to 24 months from the start of the Ph.D. candidature.
