The life at Basaveshwar Engineering College is good. 
Faculty: The faculties at Basaveshwar Engineering College are good and friendly. They are interested in teaching new technologies along with the course curriculum.
Infrastructure: The campus of Basaveshwar Engineering College is Wi-Fi enabled, and the classrooms are well-maintained. The hostel facilities are good, and medical facilities are available on campus. The college also has a decent library and sports facilities.
Courses: Basaveshwar Engineering College offers 9 undergraduate and 8 postgraduate programs with 10 departments recognized as R&D. The courses offered by the college deal with both software and hardware.
Growth: Basaveshwar Engineering College has undergone unswerving growth since 1963. The college started as a private institute with only three engineering programs and came into Government grant in-aid code from 1968. By 2003, the college started 7 additional UG and 4 new PG programs, enhancing the students' strength from 300 to 2300 and faculty strength from 20 to 140. The college has been recognized as one of the best performing colleges and received additional grants to strengthen R&D activities.

In Jhulelal institure of Technology, admission is based on exam score and merit list.

For B.E., candidates can fill online application form on official website of JIT. Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. Also, candidates need to have a valid score in MHT CET or JEE.

For M.Tech, candidates need to fill online application form available on official website of JIT. Eligibility includes 50% marks in relevant field and have a valid GATE score.

For MBA, candidates need to fill online application form available on official website of JIT. Eligibility includes 50% marks in any discipline and have a valide score in CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT.

Additionally, SVCE boasts a self-service cafeteria that caters to both students and staff.  The hostel features a mess providing vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals under strict hygienic conditions throughout the working semester.

For B.Tech, students can apply through AP-EAMCET exam or JEE Main ranks. Diploma holders can also join 2nd year B.Tech via ECET exam. M.Tech admission is through GATE or PGECET followed by counseling. MCA admission is based on ICET exam. MBA admission requires ICET/CAT/MAT/XAT. B.Tech admission for NRIs/foreigners is also merit-based without entrance tests. After qualifying relevant exams like AP-EAMCET, JEE Main, PGECET, GATE, ICET and completing counseling, shortlisted candidates must finish admission formalities like fees payment and document verification. In summary, major entrance exams like AP-EAMCET, JEE Main and PGECET along with merit-based selection are key to getting admission.

In the said courses the highest tution fees is for the B.Tech programme which is consisting of 10 courses with 2.3 L, and followed by MCA which has 2 courses with fees of 1.2L  and M.E / M.Tech course with  2 courses have a tution fee of 1.3 L .  The college  also provides  B.Tech specializations in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, M.E./M.Tech specializations in Computer Science Engineering, VLSI Design.

Attained the commendable 12th position with an AAA grade among the Top Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, as per the rankings by Careers 360. Additionally, secured the 92nd spot among India's Best Private T-Schools in the 2020 rankings by Dataquest and clinched the 54th position among India's Best Private Engineering Colleges in the 2020 rankings by India Today.

Further recognition was achieved with a ranking in the 201-250 band among the Top Engineering Colleges by NIRF 2020, a prestigious accolade bestowed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The placement cell  recently achieved a remarkable success of placements 2100+ in the year 2022. The companies are very much pleased with the skill and knowledge of the students, they also quoted praiseworthy statements about the college management and staff for shaping the students minds. Companies such as wipro, cognizant, TCS, accenture, capgemini are the leading ones recruiting them. The highest salary offered was 7.5 LPA and the average salary is between 4.5 - 5 LPA .

Most of the students who got placed has the salary package in between 3.0 - 7.0 lpa, even if the pay scale is small, the number of students selected is higher.
