You can upgrade your programme from CSE to CSE (Hons) but you will have to meet the eligibility criteria for the programme. The eligibility for CSE (Hons) is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Main. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.

This table gives information about what branches of diploma are eligible for what branches of graduation in engineering via lateral mode. But let me advise you. Yes music can be there as a minor subject but its only applicable in few colleges and to get it with your course is not easy as it is not available. If you want to learn music you can opt a course about music and if you want it as a side buisness I'll suggest you to join music society of your college it will help you to learn a lot and will give you great experience as well!
