You have a good academic and professional profile, as you have completed undergraduate degree in electronics, you can pursue masters degree in same or related fields from US.

It is not uncommon to be an IPS or IAS officer for an engineer or a doctor. If you have dream, fulfill it. But know the complexity, hard work, focus and dedication it requires to qualify the exam.
