Not at all. The AME syllabus is not same across all Indian colleges because every college has a certain course pattern to follow that is set by the college committee at the start of the academic session. Some of the concepts covered in Aircraft Maintenance engineering classes might be similar but the core and elective subjects do vary from college to college and also on the basis of the type of AME course you're pursuing.

The selection for AME courses at popular colleges in India mostly depends on the marks obtained by students in Class 12 board exams. It is good to have at least 50 to 60% marks in the final exams to increase your chances of selection. Further, some colleges need valid entrance exam scores like SSAT, JEE Main, etc.

So, you must check the college websites for a clear picture about the selection criteria followed there.

The time involved in the admission process for AME courses varies from one college to another. Generally, it can easily take up to a few months for you to get the final seat. This is because several steps are involved in the AME admission process, including entrance exams (if applicable), college application form filling, cut off lists (both merit and entrance), student shortlisting, course fee payment, etc.
