Hi,Yes, you can pursue M.Sc. Maths. Even after your B.Tech as you have studied maths. In your B.Tech. You also need a pass percentage of 55% as a general category student. Now that you are moving to a very specialized field you might also like to pursue Ph.D. So be careful while choosing a college as you need one which would give you not only the best faculty but also seminars and guest lectures by academicians from outside as is done in LPU. Great to hear a young boy so career oriented. Yes it is good to choose a career wisely because this is a life time matter for you. I would advise to pick a career for which you are passionate about. Think of your interests and then go for it because you can give your best only if you are interested in it otherwise studies would only be a burden for you. If you are interested in the technical field then this is the best time to grow. You can opt for a Diploma and once you complete this Diploma (Polytechnic) you can get direct entry into the second year of B.Tech. This way you will save one year. Moreover you will be better than the other students of your class because you studied in a specified stream so your knowledge will be better. Then you can get a scholarship based on the last two qualifications. If you are interested in other fields like architecture, management, design, fashion design hotel management, para medical Science you can pursue a Diploma and move on for a Bachelors degree. Keep in mind to check a college which is academically strong and gives the best benefits. You can browse IIT, NIT, ANNA, LPU as some good ones. So think fast as admissions are on going online.
