Although it is most ideal to appear in GPAT so as to gain entry into M.Pharm through Jamia Hamdard, you always have a choice. There are a few seats in Jamia Hamdard which remain open to non-GPAT students and the selected candidates are made on the basis of merit (B.Pharm marks) and some entrance test made by the college itself. More details may slightly differ and may vary depending on the M.Pharm programme that you apply to, so it is always better to consult the official Jamia Hamdard site by visiting the admission prospectus. In SSC GD 2026, age limit is usually 18-23 years. The most important aspect is the date of end of year to be used in calculation of age which is normally the first of January of the year of notification (i.e., January 1, 2026, in the case of SSC GD 2026). Provided that you have reached the age of 18 until this date, then you will be qualified. Since you are 17.8 you will most probably be 18 come January 1st, 2026 and you will be now qualified to become a candidate.

Yes, a 3-year B Engineering from a UK Russell Group university is valid in India for most purposes. However, for government jobs or higher studies, you may need an AIU equivalence certificate or a master's degree for full recognition.
