You asked the question way back in last year's June, it's really unfortunate that you didn't get any answer. I wasn't there at that time. But now here I am.
Application process for the course you are looking for is closed for session July 2017. Please check website in March 2018 for next session.
About the fee structure. Total Rs.48, 000/- (excluding Registration Fees of Rs. 300/-)
The course fee of Rs. 48,000/- is to be paid in three instalments
The 1st installment of Rs 28,000/- is to be paid at the time of admission.
2nd installment of Rs. 10,000/- is to be paid within 2.5 months.
3rd installment of Rs. 10,000/- is to be paid w

The university has been blacklisted by CHED and cannot admit foreign students. You should probably look for other university or country options. The notification is also displayed on their website, take a look

In case his JEE score isn't letting him take admission in some good institution or he din't give JEE, then tell him not to get disheartened. Tell him to try for admission somewhere else.
These days we have so many good private universities also imparting quality education to the students around the world. They offer admissions on JEE scores/ tests conducted by them/ your marks in 12th. Some of these also offer good scholarships based on any one of the above mentioned admission criter

The advantages of appearing in COMEDK exam is that you can get admission all the best private engineering colleges throughout the Karnataka such as RV College of Engineering, MSRIT, BMS, NIE Mysore etc. After giving COMEDK, you can join engineering stream only. Hope you got your answer.
