If I were choosing a private university for CSE in Delhi NCR, I'd look beyond rankings and focus on where students actually get to build skills through projects, internships, and industry exposure.

Universities like Shiv Nadar University, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, The NorthCap University, Bennett University, and Geeta University are all worth exploring for Computer Science Engineering. They each have different strengths, so the right fit depends on your budget and career goals.

One university that caught my attention is Geeta University. Its CSE programme offers specializations such as AI & ML, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Full Stack Development, and Quantum Computing. I also like that the curriculum seems to emphasize certifications, hackathons, internships, and live projects, which are becoming just as important as classroom learning.

My suggestion is to compare placement support, faculty, industry collaborations, and the learning environment before making a decision. A university that helps you develop practical skills over four years will usually have a much bigger impact on your career than one chosen only for its name.

There isn't a single university that is "best" for every student because the right choice depends on your goals, budget, preferred location, and career plans.

That said, Geeta University is one of the universities worth considering for CSE because it offers multiple future-focused specializations including AI & ML, Cyber Security, Data Science & Business Analytics, Full Stack Development, and Quantum Computing. The university also focuses on skill development through certifications, projects, hackathons, and internships alongside classroom learning.

I would recommend comparing universities based on:

• Coding culture and technical clubs
• Specialization options
• Certification opportunities

The best university is usually the one that helps you build strong technical skills and industry readiness rather than just providing a degree.

If you ask around, most people will point you straight to the usual names — NIT Kurukshetra, YMCA Faridabad, DCRUST Murthal, MDU Rohtak, or IIIT Sonepat if you're leaning government, and BML Munjal, Amity, or SRM if you want a private campus with better infrastructure and exposure. Fair enough, these are solid picks.

But one name that doesn't get talked about as much, and probably should, is Geeta University in Panipat — especially if you're looking at Computer Science. What's changed there over the last couple of years is that their CSE programme isn't just "CSE" anymore. They've split it into proper specialisation tracks — AI & ML, Cybersecurity, Full Stack Development, a Data Science track run with HCL, and even Quantum Computing. That's not something you see at most regional private universities.

They've also built out something called the Geeta Technical Hub, which is basically their bridge between classroom learning and actual industry work — certifications, live projects, hackathons, internships, that sort of thing, done in partnership with names like AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, and GitHub. On paper it sounds like marketing, but the numbers behind it (3,000+ certifications, 500+ internships placed) suggest it's more than just a slide in a brochure.

Placements are where it gets interesting. Most students land in the expected range, but a few outliers have done really well — one CSE grad, Vaibhav Arora, is often cited for landing a package in the crore range with an international company, and others have gone on to EY and other Big 4 firms.

Is it an NIT? No, not yet, and it probably shouldn't be compared that way. But if you're weighing it against the average private college in the state, it's clearly trying to do something different for CSE students.
