Yes, you can apply and go ahead with it but before that think why CA only as you said you have been a science student and therefore why not something in the field of science itself so that you can effectively utilize your past education also. For being a CA you will have to put in greater effrots Shaista and if you have the inclination for it, inherent flair for it and are prepared to fight the battle then have a go at it. Good luck.

To pursue a B Tech you should have completed +2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics aggregating 50 and clear state/national level entrance examinations as applicable. Admissions to 3 year diploma in Polytechnic Colleges will be based on 10th standard credentials. After your diploma, you can clear lateral entry eligibility test conducted by your state and apply for lateral entry admissions direct to the second year of a B Tech programme.
