AICTE is a government body that regulates technical courses in India. Since your university is UGC approved, your graduation degree is safe. your degree will be valid. Although not being AICTE approved might led to problems while acquiring a job since companies look out for students from a university which is accountable and AICTE approval gives that kind of accountability to the university

Deepak, well waste of time are most of the degrees that we do in India. MOOC is a brilliant concept where you get the best education for free and that increases your value since you are in a better position to handle your work and are more knowledgeable. Most good employers would understand that. I have done 5 MOOC certificates, including ones from CALARTS, WHARTON, STANFORD and DELOITTE. Wish you the best for your career. Hi Ved,
1. As per your preferred location, I may suggest you with:-
AIMS (Institute of Commerce) for CA - IPCC in Lucknow.

2. You can prepare by going for tuitions or coaching. Another option is to practice with mock question papers. These will be available from all leading book stores. By doing this, you will get a clear idea about the exam syllabus and pattern. When appearing for the interview, you must make sure that they answer correctly. Taking some time for answering each question will also be a good idea.
Hope it helps.

It depends on the company that comes for recruitment and the position for which they are recruiting you. If an IT company is looking for a managerial position, the experience could count. But if a bank is looking for a managerial position in core functional areas, your experience in IT company may not count. It is assessed on case by case basis and institution has no role in it.
