The difference between G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering & Management (GHRCEM), Pune and DY Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri (DY Patil Pimpri) in B.E/B.Tech programme is as follows:

1. These are reputation and ranking: 

• DY Patil Pimpri is a part of the 151-200 range of NIRF (2025) and can be assumed as one of the most well-known yet private engineering colleges in the city of Pune. It is NAAC A accredited, as well as having a decent position in the IIRF ranking.
• G.H. Raisoni (GHRCEM) has a good reputation and is generally not ranked as high as DY Patil Pimpri in national rankings. It is NAAC accredited as well.

2. Placements:

• DY Patil Pimpri: Good infrastructure: good labs, good classrooms, good Wi-Fi and two nice canteens. Sports and hostel facilities are provided.
• GHRCEM Pune: Good infrastructure, well furnished labs and classrooms, well implemented student oriented clubs and activities, but not as modern as DY Patil Pimpri.

4. Faculty & Academics:

• DY Patil Pimpri: The faculty is usually characterized as supportive/experienced. The content and structure of the courses is properly connected with the industry.
• GHRCEM Pune: Faculty is good, however less significance put on research or highly innovative teaching is observed by some reviews. The Industry-friendly curriculum can be a little bit traditional in comparison with DY Patil, Pimpri.

5. Student Feedback:

• The students usually provide DY Patil Pimpri with 4.3/5. Good things include placements, good value of money and lively campus with lots of activities.
• GHRCEM Pune has 3.9-4.1/5 (students feedback and employee feedback). Campus life is a strength, and occasionally noted in the review is higher attendance requirements and emphasis on discipline.

• High quality infrastructure and vibrant campus.
• Score advantage.
• GHRCEM is a decent alternative and an option in case you want narrow streams and to use clubs and student activities, but DY Patil Pimpri is in general a better option to most students

The total seat intake for the BSc course at IMU Kochi is 80. To get a seat in this programme, candidates are required to complete certain eligibility criteria, followed by an entrance exam and counselling process. Applicants must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, applicants must be medically fit, including eyesight and hearing, as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination).

Achieved valid scores in IMU CET, conducted by the IMU and for the conclusion of the whole admission procedure, the campus conducts the counselling process.
