Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Placements: Placements are not available in this college, because it is a Polytechnic college. This college is old and faculty members are experienced so there is a good range of connections with companies. So the teachers can place students in good companies through their experience. The highest salary was Rs.20,000 per month that is 3 LPA and the lowest salary was Rs.10,000 per month. Internships were compulsory for everyone in the third year. Teachers were very helpful and teach very good. The course curriculum helps students how to appear for interviews and get a job. Even semesters are hard but the odd semesters are easy. 95 percentile means your expected rank would be around 43,450. Now if the number of candidates in July session increases, your expected rank would also increase. Being a general category student, it would be quite difficult to get any of the top NITs as the seats get filled within 30,000 to 35,000 rank. However, you can expect North East NITs, NIT Sikkim, Srinagar. There are various branches in Engineering, their cutoffs differ from one another, gender to gender. Another criterion is that Home State and Other State. Now this is according to last few years data, this year the cutoffs might change. Hope it helps.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. AJEE Main score of 250 or higher is regarded as good and AJEE Mains score of 85-95 percentile is ideal for getting into NITs and IITs through the exam. Candidates must also be in the top 15,000 to 20,000 ranks to be accepted into the best NITs and IITs. To get into an NIT (any branch) try to get atleast 140+ in JEE Mains. But if you want to get CS/IT or any other core engineering branch then the cutoff are as follows :-
CS/IT : 195+
MECH : 190+
ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS : 185+
CIVIL : 168+
Any other non core branch (Chemical/Metallurgy/Production etc. ). : 145+
Non engineering branches (Physics/Chemistry/Maths etc. ). : 140+
Kindly note: The cutoff mentioned above are just to get an NIT, but to get a Top NIT, try to get atleast 235+. .
