To switch from a UK student dependent visa to a UK Graduate visa dependent, you must have your main applicant apply for the Graduate visa first, then you can apply to be a dependent on a Graduate visa, either at the same time or before your current student dependent visa expires. 

Your main applicant needs to have successfully completed an eligible course and had this confirmed by their educational provider to the UK Home Office before proceeding to apply for a Graduate visa. Both the main applicant and you must apply to switch from your current visas from within the UK.
