BHM course clearly has more value than a Diploma because it offers a deep training with a better career scope and better placement opportunities. It also opens a door for higher studies like MBA or MHM.

But Diplomas are shorter and more of a job oriented and they may not offer managerial positions.

BHM is all about process of managing and catering, which includes entire hotel operations and functionalities. It include both service skills with managerial skills.

But BSc Hotel Management is more about scientific side of hospitality. It includes topics such as food science, catering technology and housekeeping techniques.

Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) is mostly 4 year course and it have 8 semesters.

In this course, students study theory and also do practical like housekeeping, food serving, front office and even event work. Many colleges send students for internship in big hotels in last semesters, so they get real experience before job.

Yes, candidates who have cleared Class 12 board exams are eligible to apply for BSc courses at JD School of Design. To get admissions into BSc courses at JD School of Design the candidates must score an aggregate of 40% or more in their Class 12 board exams from any stream. The graduation certificate must be issued by a recognised board at the time of admission.

Yes, students from Commerce, Science, or Arts stream can apply for the BHM course, but, thei must have 50%. 

BHM course focuses more on communication, service and management skills rather than specific subjects like Science or math.

BHM admissions in India are majorly based on NCHMCT JEE, CUET, and state-level tests such as MAH HM CET.

These exams usually asses the aptitude, reasoning, English and hospitality knowledge in candidates and let them know where they stand in the admission process.

The best Hotel Management colleges conduct these exams which are then followed by counselling, PI and GDs. Scoring well in these exams makes it possible for candidates to get selected in good colleges in India.

No, candidates who wish to take admission into BSc courses at JD School of Design are not required to clear any entrance exams to get admissions into BSc courses at JD School of Design. JD School of Design admissions for the BSc courses are merit based where the score obtained by a candidate is used to determine if they get admissions or not.
