SEE in terms of Infrastructure both the institutes are great. From the point of view of curriculum, PES University have a more industry oriented curriculum compared to that of MSRIT (MSRIT is affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi ). Apart from this PES have a better placement percentage for the EEE in comparison to the EIE of MSRIT. Although the packages offered are lesser than that of MSRIT but you will have more possibility of getting a job in PESU compared to that of MSRIT. So technically, PESU will be a better choice for you.

However, now, SC/ST/PH students shall get complete fee waiver. Students whose parents earn less than Rs 1 Lacs can get full remission of the fee. If their family earns between Rs 1 Lacs and 5 Lacs per annum, they can get a remission of two-third of the fee.

Hello Anisha Hegde, even though in the attached link, you will find all the information about the placements in this college, I am afraid that you will not find any data branchwise. Unfortunately placements in Aeronautical engineering branch is very poor across India. Though four years from today, it's expected to gather momentum since ISRO is giving great push for privatisation in almost every sphere.

I feel that if your son has backlogs then he should perhaps take a break from college, study with tuitions all the subjects with backlog and clear thesis at one go. Hi Deepika the fee structure at Thakur Har Narayan Singh Degree College for B.Com is around INR 8000 annually as course fees and practical fees is around INR 300 annually so just go for it and have the better future opportunities.
