The VFX Institute is not difficult to get into, as the admission process is not based on national-level entrance exams. Admissions are based on the in-house entrance exam, namely the Media and Entertainment Creative Aptitude Test (MECAT). Basic eligibility criteria, such as a good academic score, or prior knowledge of software, can also be considered. Candidates can easily apply on the official website.

Yes, you can typically base your Ph.D. topic choice on the NET (National Eligibility Test) subject you selected. You can pursue a Ph.D. in the field that corresponds with your NET qualification at the majority of universities and institutes. For example if you appeared for the NET in a specific subject, you can apply for a Ph.D. in that subject or a closely related field. However, it's vital to check the exact eligibility criteria specified by the university or research center you're applying to, as certain institutions may have additional requirements or restrictions based on the research topics they provide.
