The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech programme at SRM Valliammai Engineering College (SRMVEC) is as follows:

1. Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognised board.

2. Entrance Exam: Candidates should have appeared for and secured a minimum score in the SRM Joint Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) or any other national-level engineering entrance exam recognised by SRMVEC.

3. Age Limit: Candidates should be between 16 and 23 years of age as on August 31, 2023.

4. Domicile: Candidates should be an Indian national or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
