* Engineers are in demand in electricity boards, atomic power plants, hydroelectric power plants, thermal power plants robotics, biomedical electronics, power corporations, hydro-electricity sector, production plants, natural gas plants, petroleum, steel and chemical plants.
* There are job opportunities for electrical graduates in the field of food, pulp and paper, chemical, aircraft and automobile.
* Both public and private sector enterprises employ qualified and skilled electrical engineers.
* One may work as :
-Consultants
-Project Head
-Chief Engineers
-Workshop Manager
-Operations Manager
-Verification Engineer
-Engineering Technologist
-Development and Test Engineers
-Electrical Product Design Engineer
* As far as salary is concerned, it depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience, etc. To give you a brief idea,
Electrical engineers are offered a pay package of Rs. 35, 000 - Rs 40,000 per month for the entry level position in private sector and slightly lower in the public sector.
For electronics and communication graduates is Rs. 15000-20000 per month in the public sector.
The remuneration may extend up to 4, 00,000 – 8, 00,000 lakhs per annum depending upon the caliber and experience of the candidate.

Other than MBA, there are several options available after B.Sc Maths. You must opt for the one which matches your interest and skills as your decision will help you to achieve your career goal accordingly.
1) You may opt for M.Sc if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch.
2) You may even opt for MCA. You need to sit for entrance exam.
3) You may even go for specialized fields such as :
-Pure Mathematics
-Applied Mathematics
-Computational Mathematics
-Algebra and Number Theory
-Topology and Foundations
-Geometric Analysis
-Analysis
-Probability and Statistics
4) Further, you may study :
-Master of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics
-Master of Philosophy in Mathematics
-Master of Philosophy in Statistics
-Master of Philosophy in Computing and Mathematical Sciences
-Ph.D in Mathematics
-Ph.D in Math Education
5) You may opt for several other exams such as UPSC, Bank PO, DRDO, BHEL etc.
6) If you are interested in teaching then you may go for B.Ed. After PG / M.Phil courses, if interested to be a lecturer, you need to undergo NET exam, conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC. The State level test SLET is for appointments within the state.
7) You have another option with you, i.e., you may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area. Think and decide wisely where do you wish to see yourself in future.
