Many private colleges take direct admission so you can contact directly the college.
It is not a good choice to opt for engineering after B.Com. Go for MBA or law.

Without the backlogs, I would have still suggested you to apply but with so many backlogs and not a very competitive CGPA, I will rather say you apply someplace else. May be Australia or other European countries which are popular among students.
