Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Yes, you can write your GRE now. Most students write their GRE while they are in their 6th semester of their 8 semester course. Taking the GRE now helps you cope up with the busy schedule that you will have during your 4-2 which involves your project work and such. Having a GRE score on hand well in advance helps as you can focus on preparing your applications to apply to the various schools or to apply for a visa. Hope this helps

You are too young to think of this career as of now, but if you have this thing in mind then I suggest you evaluate yourself by acting in school plays, doing mono-acting etc at school level and try to find out the response of the fellow students. If you gain confidence out of it then try to join theater when you come in college. But in the meantime keep yourself focused also on your studies so that you ca bank upon other career should your mind move away form the acting profession at a later age.

Bhavya, if you are sure to get above 75 per cent, apply at Nitte University.Mangalore. Besides good teachers and programs you can avail almost 40-50% cut in fees as scholarship. The University has been awarded A grade by the Government of India. Nangalore is safe for women. You can also apply at Manipal but the fees are very high.A govt University should also be fine but be careful as to where you apply because many govt. universities dont work regularly

The percentage required to be eligible for IIT exams/JEE Mains and Advance for class 12th is minimum 75%.
This is done to lessen the number of candidates appearing for competitive exams because JEE has now planned to have an online test for which centers are less and candidates are huge in number.
