Hello Yashaswini, let me assure that what subject is good for career is really dependent on what are your views on life, what are your likes and dislikes, which subject you like better than the other etc. However let me state that CSE or Computer sciences engineering in itself is a very nice subject for making a career. As you gain experience in the job for couple of years then you can think of diversifying or specialising in one of the subjects that you liked during this time. This will also boost your career to a higher level. Best wishes.

Hello Maithili, I can understand your angst and anxiety in knowing cutoff for girls in different colleges for getting admission in mechanical branch of engineering. But I am afraid that this type of information is just not available readily on the internet. Perhaps you could search the net and try to obtain information from probable colleges in which you are seeking admission but then except perhaps for the nationally famous colleges like NIT or IIT where the percentage of girls was very less, girl students were given admissions to have minimum percentage of girls in engineering. Best wishes to you.

From your surname it looks like that you are from Maharashtra. The state government has not yet announced how the students are going to be given marks for 10 standard. This is quite crucial for you since admissions for Diploma are dependent on the marks obtained in 10th. In view of this I would advise you to have some patience and keep observing the news on

It is better to study BBA/B.A/ B.Com in regular mode if planning to do MBA in future. But there are people who made it to IIM after graduation from distance mode. The distance college should be reputed and duly approved by DEC. Few good option for distance BBA could be Symbosi, NMIMS, IGNOU, Anamali, Pondicherry, Kurushetra, LPU, Amity etc.
