Hi, There are two part to the first level entrance test- Creative Ability Test CAT and General Ability Test (GAT). CAT is the most important part of the question paper. Start sketching and develop your own style of sketching and coloring. I can not stress this enough. Good drawing skills are very important. How you present/draw your ideas is just as important as the idea itself. Keep reading the newspaper (especially around November-December) It'll help you in GK part of GAT and help you generate better ideas. Most questions in CAT are related to current scenarios. For example- Make in India was started in late 2014 and in the 2015 entrances Hi had asked the students to make a mascot and a poster to promote the same. Based on the happenings and big stories in the media, plan and create small sketches. This was you'll save time on thinking during the actual exams. Go through various artists on social medias, movies, art galleries etc. To find inspiration. Go through question papers from the previous years and see what kind of questions they ask. Start solving these question papers in the given time and work on pacing yourself. For that, you can pick up any reference book. Math, logic and English are mostly what you've learned in school but it's better to revise. Keep solving the previous question papers so you can get into the habit of thinking along those lines. You can pick up any test series or books from Arihant publication. They usually have a summary of the portion. Check out other artist's work on Instagram, Interest, Behance, etc. So that you can improve your drawing skill and understand what the rest of the world is doing.

This minimum percentile game is tricky. There are things that you need to keep in mind:
1) Which IIM are you looking at? - For IIM Ahmedabad your academic qualifications are not very important. A 65+ in each of X, XII and graduation (if grad score is 70% then X or XII could be between 60 and 65 as well) will ensure that you clear the minimum academic rating score. Thus, all that matters is that you clear the cut-off (99.65+). Others like IIM B need you to have a decent academic background
2) Your academic background - Say you are one of those who has scored 90+ in X and XII and 80+ in graduation, then even a 96-97 percentile might fetch you a call from IIM B, K, I and the likes. Whereas if you want to apply to new IIM then 90+% will work.

It is a developing university, so it will be the best university in Jharkhand in future.
Placements: A few students were placed with the lowest salary like Rs. 15,000, but most of the companies are local. In this college, the highest placed students are MBA and BBA students in average range companies. Some of the students were also placed in great companies like Wipro, and also some students have got startups. It is average in placement.
Infrastructure: It has its own campus, but it is in a developing mode, so it is situated in a rented building and pays rent for using the building. It has own canteen and modern lab like computer lab with free Wi-Fi, digital library, electric lab, but it has no medical facilities. The canteen is average, but the food is good and tasty.
Faculty: All departments faculty are well experienced in their own field. All are helpful to the students. The students also can ask any type of questions and any type of help. They always support and love to help. Every department has the maximum number faculty with at least 5-10 years of experience. The teachers teach a simple and good quality of education.
Other: It is awarded the best college in 2011. It has its own campus and modern library and canteen. Here, students are almost placed but BBA and MBA placements are more. It also provides transport facilities for teachers and students. This college does not support ragging and sexual harassments. It also provides hostels for girls and boys.

Indian Academy Degree College, Bangalore is an autonomous institute established in 1994. The institute has been graded A by NAAC and it is permanently affiliated to Bangalore University. Indian Academy Degree College offers UG programs viz. B.Sc., B.com, BA, BBA, BCA and PG programs in M.Sc., M.Com, MA. A five-year integrated MTTM program is also available.
Candidates can apply online as well as offline for different programs.
Candidates have to fill-up separate forms for each course (if eligible for more than one stream).
The college admits candidates on merit basis only followed by interview.
Integrated MTTM program include Bachelors and Master's degree in tourism and travel management.
Minimum requirement to apply to UG programs is to pass 10+2 examination.
Indian Academy Degree College offers PG degree course in M.Sc. with eight streams of specialization namely Microbiology, Chemistry (organic), Biochemistry, Mathematics, Applied Genetics, Physics, and Computer Science. Basic eligibility criteria include B.Sc. with at least 50% aggregate in marks and prescribed subjects as optional at B.Sc. and 10+2 level. Applicants who have applied for M.Sc at IADC will be selected on the basis of marks in qualifying examination and interview assessment score.
Eligibility for Mathematics- BSc with Mathematics as optional subject and 40% aggregate.
Selection Procedure-Merit based (qualifying examination marks and interview assessment score).

Placements: 70 (approximately) seniors got placed in mechanical department out of some 180. Earlier there were more than 400 students in mechanical department in 2015 passed out batch in which 180 were placed. But as years passed there came a downfall in placements. Still November of this 2017 only one student was placed from the final year. In the last 4 months the remaining 60-65 got placed. Around 30-35 were placed in core I guess.
Infrastructure: In case of infrastructure CEG is really good. There are teams for all the sports practicing daily. Labs are well-equipped with air conditioners. There is a medical centre inside the campus providing free treatment and medicines for students and faculty. Library facilities and policies are good enough. Our mechanical classrooms are equipped with projectors, TV, and laptops are provided if needed.
Faculty: All the teaching faculty here are Ph.D. holders. And there are some teaching fellows pursuing their Ph.D. So all the professors and assistance professors are knowledgeable. CEG has the largest workshop in India I guess. So it seems to be an industry exposure for students.
Other: Kurukshetra - South India's second the largest cultural is a pride of CEG. AGNI for freshers is an entertaining and informative one.

As per the official notification, candidates who are going to appear in UGC NET Examination must possess the post-graduation degree from the recognised university with minimum 55% marks. The marks will be calculated overall including the all the semester's marks. Previously CBSE was the conducting agency of the UGC NET exam. From December 2018 the National Testing Agency also known as NTA will conduct the exam twice a year. The NTA has decided to conduct the exam in different session this year. The exam is scheduled from 2 December to 16 December 2018.
