Basically the MAT score is accepted only by tier 2 and tier 3 B Schools. Being a CAT trainer, I always maintain that an MBA aspirant should target the top 100 B Schools in India. Let me clarify that I am in no way taking away your superb performance in the MAT exam. I strongly suggest, you look at cracking the CAT exam with at least 95 percentile, to have a realistic chance of making it to the top 100 B Schools in India.
