For seeking admission in B.Sc, the student must have cleared higher secondary grade (10+2) from a recognised board. For lateral entry, some colleges like Annamalai University offer admission to 2nd year of the programme, for which the student must have minimum 75% marks in the previous year of programme in the same discipline or 3 year Diploma in technical field after 10th standard. Most Universities grant merit-based admission to the B.Sc. . Programme. The application forms are made available in the months of May and June. In the application forms, students mark their preference for Computer Science. Universities then declare a cut-off list. Students who fulfill the cut-off are eligible for the admission in that particular university. Universities such as Banaras Hindu University conduct Undergraduate Entrance Test BHU UET for admission to their honors programme in B.Sc. . The syllabus for entrance test covers topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There are a total of 150 question, I. e. , 50 questions from each topic. The questions are of 10+2 level. For universities which have provision for merit-based admission, the selection criteria is fulfillment of the cut off percentage. For universities which grant admission on the basis of entrance examination, about 60% weight-age is given to marks scored in entrance exam and 40% weight-age is given to marks scored in 10+2.

There are two ways to join as a lateral entry student.
1. After Diploma you can apply throw' counseling which will be conducted at Alagappa Chettiyar University, Karaikudi. Counseling call depends on your Diploma final year percentage. If you received a call for the first day counseling or topped with a rank of at least below 10, you're almost have a chance to get a seat at PSG Tech. Your final year percentage should be more than 96 if you're a general category applicant. For BC/MBC it should be more than 94%. For SCA/SC/ST more than 92 is enough.
2. Throw' management quota. Fees for this entry may depends on the branch of engineering. It may varies from 5 to 10lakh Rupees donation. Other state students can join with PSG Tech throw' this quota. Applications for lateral entry admissions will be issued at all Government engineering colleges in all districts. During mid of May month application issue starts. For SC/ST student's application is free, if you submit attested copy of your community certificate. This admission is applicable for all engineering colleges in TamilNadu.

USA is one of the top choices for students to study MBA, since it is one of the most prominent education hubs and is home to some of the top universities in the world like Stanford, Harvard and MIT, among others. Full time MBA programmes in the US mostly take two years to complete, but many MBA specializations also end within one year. Although, work experience is not the most important aspect of your application for business schools like Harvard, but preference is always given to experienced professionals. The average work experience of MBA students accepted in business schools in the USA falls within the range of 3-7 years. In fact, it can go up to even 9 years in universities like MIT Sloan.

The course on Law was introduced in PES University last year [2017] and hence there is not much of a data available to do a comparative research on is it good or which is better for law and what opportunities are available for students opting for it once they are done. So if you dont want to gamble with your career or you wish to get a job as soon as you walk out of college then i would say you should not opt for it. If there are any other factors due to which you are thinking about joining PES for law then please do go ahead. Im not saying that it is not a good college also im just saying that no one has any data to prove their point (either positive or negative).The procedure to get into the university are:

Interested candidates can apply online with the required information.
Written Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) conducted by the university.
Candidates with valid score in CLAT are exempted from PESSAT exam but need to register for it.
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview based on marks obtained in PESSAT/ CLAT.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on academic score and performance in personal interview.
