Being a Government Institute, the fee is very low as compared to other private or autonomous institutions.

The fee for the B.Tech courses is around INR 16,500/- per year. The fee is only around INR 25,000/- per year for a lateral entry candidate. So the entire course can be completed by paying less than INR 2 Lakhs. The hostel fee is also low and affordable.

Since It's a Government College, a lot of students compete to get an admission in this college considering it's comparatively low fee. This adds to the usual JEE Main cutoff of above 90 to get an admission for the General category students. The closing JEE Main score in the previous year for the least desired courses B.E. in Automobile Engineering and B.E. in Civil Engineering was 93.39 for the General category students. As for courses like B.E. in Computer Science Engineering the cut-off is a bit high. P.S. the cutoff marks may vary every year.

Considering the experiences of former students of the college, the placement opportunites in this college are very slim. Only a few companies visit this college and provide On-Campus Placement opportunities. These companies are also new in their respective fields and haven't added much to their namesake. Only a small number of students get jobs in these placements and are offered very low packages on an average of 2-2.5 LPA. So to conclude Placement is certainly a major issue in this college.
