Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. The duration of the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam is 90 minutes. You will have a total of 90 minutes to complete all 120 objective-type questions across the three sections (General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Study of Law).

Remember, there is no specific time limit for each section, so you can manage your time as you see fit within the overall 90-minute timeframe. However, it's generally recommended to practice time management during your preparation to ensure you can answer all questions accurately within the given time.

 Manipal Centre for Humanities offers a four-year BA (Humanities) course. To get admission to BA at Manipal Centre for Humanities, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Admission to this course is entirely merit-based. Students are selected based on their performance in the previous qualifying exam, essay, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round.

Yes, the direct admission to all the UG and PG courses at MCH Manipal is possible. Questions in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET Exam are broadly asked from three subjects: General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Aptitude for the Study of Law. No, there is no negative marking in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam. This means students can attempt all questions. No mark will be deducted for a wrong answer or response. There will be a total of 120 questions on the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET question paper. Each question will carry one mark. Thus, candidates will receive marks equal to the correct answers given by them in the entrance examination.

AP LAWCET question paper consists of 120 objective-type questions. These 120 questions are divided into three sections. These sections are General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Law Study. The marks distribution for each section is different. General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Law Study contain 30, and 60 marks, respectively. As a result, the Aptitude for Law Strudy section carries the most weightage in the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam.

Manipal University offers BA (Hons) via Mahipal Centre of Humanities. Admission to MCH BA (Hons) is based on merit secured in the qualifying exam and personal essay submitted by the candidate during the application process. The shortlisted candidates are then invited for the personal interview round.
