-To become an automotive engineer :
1) You need to pursue engineering degree / diploma first after passing 12th with minimum 60% (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) from recognized board. You need to appear in entrance exam.
2) After graduation you can go for M.E./M.Tech in Automobile engineering.
3) You may then opt for short / long term courses comprising of different levels such as designing, development or manufacturing with automotive. It depends on you where do you want to fit in.
