The student must be a pass in the higher secondary school certificate exam (10+2). The candidate must have physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics in their higher secondary schooling. The eligibility percentage for getting admitted to this course depends on the institute applying to. In general, the admission is based on the score of the higher secondary school certificate exam. But some colleges take admission on the basis of an entrance test.

The Highest package offered for the current 2012-14 batch was 8.25 lac and min was 4.5 lac . Fee for the whole MBA(IT) course for the 2014-16 batch is Rs 6.39 lac . Companies like Nexgen , thoughtworks, igate ,google , yardi , morgan stanley , blazeclan etc visited the campus for the 2012-14 batch .Nearly 70% of the elligible student for placement i.e 47 student have got placed ,wth majority in yardi , igate and nexgen .

I thought your question is about Lateral Entry in B.Tech if that was than you can apply to any Engineering College which is running the branches in which you want to opt B.Tech , you can also apply to Quantum School of Technology, Roorkee for Lateral Entry .
