Hi, French is a good option. I guess you missed out the opportunity with JNU. JNU has a full time residential Centre for French and Francophone Studies. Now you can either wait for next year, which won't be a nice idea or you can try for some other institutes which provides french studies. Do a check on the faculty member prior to joining.
Several colleges for BBA will give you an option to opt for a foreign langauage. So you can always choose French. BBA will be a better option if you are willing to do an MBA too.
All the very best.

Hi, Always try to go for an Engineering degree. You can explore the colleges you can get with your score. The disadvantage of Diploma would be, You won't b eligible for several offers/jobs because all of them don't consider diploma as a qualification.
