BCA and B.Tech in IT/ CSE- Both the degrees are functional for the career of the students in the IT industry. But BCA is a 3-year professional degree course whereas B.Tech is a 4-year engineering degree course after completion of which you will be posted as an engineer with a better position as well as salary structure.
So it is always wise to pursue B.Tech in CSE/IT if opportunity prevails rather than doing BCA (even followed by MCA).

Most institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in entrance exams. Other than that group discussions followed by a personal interview.
Some institutes conduct their own entrance. The admission process generally varies across colleges. A few institutes also provide direct admission based on the 12th class score.
