Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability. Assam CEE 2023 was held on 28 May as a pen-and-paper-based test at various centres. During the registration process for the Assam CEE 2023 counselling, the candidates were required to pay the counselling fee of INR 800. The candidates were able to pay the fee online i.e. , through net banking/credit card/debit card. No other mode of payment was accepted by the authorities. If the candidates failed to make the payment before the final date, then they were not allowed to participate in the counselling process. In case the payment status was not clear, the candidates were advised to immediately contact the authorities.
