Christ University Department of Media Studies accepts scores from its own entrance exam, known as the Christ University Entrance Test for admission into its media programs. Admission to most Undergraduate and Post graduate courses is based on Christ University Entrance Test conducted by Christ Deemed to-be University, Department of Media Studies. Apart from CMAT Christ University, Institute of Management also accepts AMTA/GRE/CAT/MAT/XAT scores.

Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies (DGMC) is a well-known media studies institution located in Mumbai, India. No, DGMC is not more expensive than S K Somaiya College. The fees in S K Somaiya College to take admission in any UG course the fees for 1st year  varies from INR1.5 Lakh to 2.5 Lakh whereas in DGMC to take admission in UG course the fees for 1st year will be within INR 50K and for the PG courses the total fees varies from 2.5 Lakh to 3 Lakh.
