Admission is solely on the basis of entrance exam scores, namely, JEE Main or Haryana State Technical Education Society entrance exam. Eligibility for admission also involves passing the 10+2 education with appropriate marks in Physics and Mathematics. The selection is based on merit list due to performance in entrance exams, and candidates have to undergo counseling to get a seat.
